lesson plans, and a complete curriculum. All are owned
and operated by homeschoolers.
Alpine Valley School
Students from K-12 are the heart and core of this
community. Their curriculum comes from the kids
persuing their own interests. Alpine is Colorado's
first Sudbury Valley School.
CAIL: Colorado Academy of Independent
Learners
Homeschool veteran Kerry Kantor offers families the

A group for unschoolers that want more time to play
with friends in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico,
Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Washington, Oregon,
Nevada, and California. This is a forum to organize
some travel, camping, and other places to get together.
Created by unschoolers living in the Western Region of
the U.S. who attended the Live & Learn Unschooling

A non-profit organization established to facilitate a
strong sense of community among homeschool families in
the Denver Metro area. We are an inclusive group that
offers a cooperative ("co-op") open to all metro-wide
homeschoolers as well as a homeschool support group
offering activities such as park day, volunteer
opportunities, special needs support, and a sharing of

The Leaf Bombers has been formed under the Niche open
homeschool group. It is for kids ages approximately 12
& up. To make logistics reasonable for the parents,
younger siblings are allowed. If siblings are small,
parents should make sure they are present so that the
siblings won't distract the older kids. Several events
are planned each month. Everyone is encouraged to

Families in Southern Colorado! We get together weekly
for some fun hang-out time, and welcome any
homeschooling style, religion, and personal philosophy,
just as long as you and your children are nice. Some of
us have been homeschooling for a very long time, and we
all use a different style/methodology - we cover it
