Colorado Support Groups

Having been involved in many homeschool support groups over the years, I would like to interject a comment here. Support groups are, notoriously, shoestring operations. They're run by volunteers; busy moms and harried dads, just like you and me. These folks don't have any more time in the day than we do. They just manage to wedge a little in somehow. They do it for the love of homeschooling. For the sake of our kids. For the good of all of us. So please, when you find your group, offer to set up an activity or two. Show up at events you've signed up for, and if something comes up, call the coordinator to let them know. Pitch in and help your co-op leader sort the shipment. Donate a dollar or two to help offset expenses. In other words, give back. A single person has only so much energy to go around. But if we work together, we can accomplish miracles!
